Wedding Crasher @ Valentine's Day Wedding in Liverpool, NY!

Tonight we had the pleasure of providing DJ services for the Valentines Day Wedding Reception of Russell and Felicia Weber, of Oswego, NY. The reception took place at the Holiday Inn, Electronics Pkwy, Liverpool. The ceremony, was anything but typical. They had a FLASH MOB WEDDING at Carousel Center in Syracuse! It made the local news on multiple stations as well as Syracuse.com.

The reception was absolutely wonderful. Both the bride and groom have been personally touched by the tragedy of breast cancer. Therefore, their Wedding's theme was Breast Cancer Awareness. We provided pink uplighting behind the head table. We also designed a custom dance-floor monogram that was a big hit.

In an unexpected turn of events, in the last 45 minutes of the wedding, a rather drunk gentleman was asked to leave...

After a newlywed pow-wow, it was determined that neither the bride nor groom had any idea who he was. He was there the ENTIRE evening! He ate, enjoyed the open bar, enjoyed a slow dance with the bride, and even caught the garter! I certainly don't condone wedding crashing, but by all accounts, he was a rather fun guy who I'm sure many would call the life of the party! In the end, his scheme came unraveled when the free drinks caught up with him. Strangely, he was there alone! Generally, wedding crashers work in pairs, a couple friends right? This guy was solo, and had a ball. Most of the folks there either found it hilarious, or were impressed by his boldness. Kudos to you wedding crasher, whoever you are. I think you helped make a mid-week Tuesday wedding a little more fun for all.

Thanks again Russell and Felicia, for letting us share your big day with you! It's one we won't forget!

  1. This is so funny! Thank you for the time u spent preparing for our wedding!
This guy was truly a character. Lol
He even made it into our professional photo coffee table book.... wicked funny to look back at. The only reason I chose to speak to my husband about this gentleman is bc he had made an inappropriate comment to one of my beautiful bride's maids. This is how his hilarious plot unraveled!
