Saturday, August 3, 2013, We provided DJ services for the FUN wedding of Nicole and Bill Rafferty.
The reception was held at Bonnie Castle in Alexandria Bay, NY. For cocktails, we transmitted to a wireless speaker on the outdoor deck overlooking the beautiful St. Lawrence river with sweeping views of Boldt Castle. For cocktails Nicole and Bill wanted a good balance of standards and newer music. We created a custom playlist which included everything from Van Morrison, Frank Sinatra and Harry Connick Jr., to Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, and Philip Phillips. The result was an eclectic mix for all ages. The perfect backdrop to a minging and catching up over drinks on the deck.
After cocktails guests were treated to an exquisite meal, after which, we opened the dance-floor.
Nicole & Bill requested a handful of great songs to get me started, and I filled in the blanks with similar music. The result as a dance-floor that was packed quite literally all night long. Exactly as Bill and Nicole envisioned, we worked our way through the years, starting with some oldies standards for their older guests and family members, then some great 80's tunes that are fitting for all ages.

out, and their friends enjoyed some cocktails, it turned into an all out club.
I received the nicest card and a generous thank you from the Rafferty's recently, and I must say, the pleasure was indeed mine. They're an awesome couple.
Thanks again for a night to remember Bill & Nicole! Your awesome families and friends definitely made my job easier and a lot of fun to rock your party.
